This June the NavigatX team will be exhibiting at Seawork 2026, in partnership with Wärtsilä.
For those unfamiliar with NavigatX, we are superyacht bridge hardware specialists, supporting everything from full bridge refits and new build specifications to ongoing hardware maintenance.
We spoke with Fay Reeve, Seawork Exhibition Manager, to find out more about this year’s show and what visitors can expect.
We also discuss what we will be bringing to Stand E12 and how to find us across the three days of the show.

Why we are attending
Seawork 2026 offers NavigatX the opportunity to have real-world conversation, whether your vessel is planning to go paperless or you’re planning a refit and don’t know where to start, the NavigatX team are here to listen and help find the right solution for you.
This year we will be showcasing alongside our partners at Wärtsilä.
David Store, our founder, believes the exhibition is the ideal staging for this partnership, “For a company built on bespoke project management, personal service and genuine technical expertise, Seawork is a natural fit. We only ever work with the best technology available in the market and our partnership with Wärtsilä is a reflection of exactly that.”
Rob Van Loenhout, Global Manager Distribution Operations ECDIS at Wärtsilä explains:
“We are excited to exhibit alongside NavigatX at Seawork.
The Navi-Sailor ECDIS (formerly Transas) is perfectly suited for vessels of any size including workboats and superyachts. Our comprehensive range of ECDIS and MFD solutions are fully approved, supplied with current hardware, and can soon be upgraded to meet the S100 standard – guaranteed!
A full range of third-party monitor sizes are also available on the certificate, making it straightforward for refit purposes. We invite you to visit us and discover how this partnership benefits your maritime operations.”
What makes Seawork different
Seawork is one of the most important commercial marine events in the calendar but understanding what makes it different starts with appreciating what it was built to do, how far it has come, and why Southampton has always been its home.
Fay explains, “The original vision was to create a dedicated meeting place for the commercial marine industry somewhere practical, accessible, and rooted in real commercial business. That vision remains intact today.”
After nearly two decades with the show, it’s clear that Seawork means a great deal to Fay and the team behind it:
“It’s been hugely rewarding to see how far the show has come, the ongoing success stories that follow each event, and the new products and innovation showcased year after year. Above all, what stands out each year is seeing everyone come together.”
At NavigatX, we understand that well. This industry runs on trust and relationships built over time – Seawork is exactly where that comes together.
The show’s location at Mayflower Park in Southampton is no accident either.
As Fay puts it, “The venue offers a unique combination of shoreside exhibition space and direct access to the water which enables live vessel demonstrations and afloat exhibits that bring the commercial marine sector to life.”

What to expect from Seawork 2026
Seawork 2026 will build on everything the show is known for, while continuing to evolve alongside the industry. Fay confirms:
“Visitors can expect new pavilions covering key growth areas including autonomy and remote operations, as well as superyacht and professional rescue operations. An increased number of international pavilions will also feature, broadening the global perspective across the show floor.
On the water, a busy pontoon will feature a wide range of commercial vessels available for inspection and trial, supported by an extensive programme of demonstrations and live activity throughout the event.”
Live demonstrations are exactly what NavigatX are planning to bring to our stand too. One of the highlights of our presence at Seawork 2026 will be the opportunity to see bridge technology from our partners at Wärtsilä up close and in action across all three days of the show.
Technology and innovation
Maritime technology is a major theme across Seawork this year, both on the show floor and within the conference programme. Fay notes:
“The commercial and superyacht sectors are undergoing significant transformation. Autonomy, remote operations and data-led decision-making are reshaping how vessels are operated. Seawork reflects these shifts by bringing together the companies, technologies and conversations driving change.”
At NavigatX, we’re proud to partner with the most respected names in maritime technology to ensure every bridge we touch is equipped with the best hardware available and supported to the highest standard.

Advice for attendees
Fay’s advice for anyone attending in 2026 is simple:
“Creating a visitor profile on the Seawork website allows you to explore the full exhibitor list, shortlist your must-see companies and build a personalised plan. The matchmaking facility connects visitors and exhibitors based on shared interests – meaning Seawork is not simply a three-day event, but an ongoing platform for collaboration.”
